In independent dynamometer tests, Eastern High Performance Catalytic Converters outperformed OE stock when it came to horsepower and torque. The charts show the dyno results comparing an OEM converter system to an Eastern Direct-fit Performance Converter, with a 200 cell metallic foil catalyst, on a 2002 / 5.7L Chevy Camaro Z-28 with an SLP exhaust system*.
The results show:
- Increased HP +6 @ 5,300 RPM
- Increased Torque +7 ft-lbs @ 4,600 RPM
Performance Charts:
At 4,000 RPM our Direct-fit Performance Converter delivered a 62% decrease in backpressure for higher output and more efficient engine performance.
