– New state regulations in New York and increased certifications from California key factors for expanded production and availability –
Langhorne, PA… Eastern Catalytic a world-class manufacturer of catalytic converters and related components, has doubled it’s production capacity along with the inventory of its CARB Converters Series in order to meet the growing need for CARB-compliant converters. Key factors for this expansion are an increase in new Executive Orders earned by the company from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for replacement converter applications and the anticipated demand for CARB-compliant converters by parts distributors and auto service shops in New York state when the new CARB emissions compliance regulations become effective on January 1, 2014.
